I bet your traffic will jump today! :)

rockcrawler304, 2009-08-05 06:39:11 PDT
LMAO You stop picking on the poor little spammies.
BLuECaT, 2009-08-05 09:42:28 PDT
I'll buy some furnitureline.co.uk shares. They will reach the sky after this spam!
Rafagd, 2009-08-05 15:41:31 PDT
lol you'll be in the number 1 spot for sure!
BLuECaT, 2009-08-05 15:44:31 PDT
There are only 114 shares of it, and the maximum value a share can be worth is $1,000,000, so he could make at most $114,000,000 from this, which would only get him to seventh place.
someguy, 2009-08-05 15:49:16 PDT
THAT was unexpected. I didn't knew there was a max value per share.
Rafagd, 2009-08-06 13:49:53 PDT
http://www.urladex.com/faq

"How is a site's share-price calculated?
The graphs are drawn daily by Alexa to represent the number of hits per million users whose computers are equipped with the Alexa toolbar. The number of hits per million users determines the potential price of the site's share."

If every person with the Alexa toolbar visited a site one day, then one million out of one million people would have visited it, and the share value would be $1,000,000.

i'm not playing for while but i see that you could get a lot arbitrage buying shares before price change and selling a single share setting the clock to 00:00. That breaks the frozen time and you could buy and sell many times that able to.
Ferrarimaseratti, 2009-06-28 08:12:11 PDT
I still don't get how arb works... :(
tenacious221, 2009-06-28 22:24:50 PDT
you see that the price is about to change (either from the graphs or from alexa.com) and buy or sell accordingly BEFORE urladex gets the latest price thus avoiding loss or making gains.
kestor, 2009-06-29 03:09:34 PDT
Well I see that all the time, but whenever I buy or sell, I get an error that says the price changed during transaction or whatever...
tenacious221, 2009-06-29 22:31:31 PDT
You have to be on it when the first updats come in... tabs at the ready :)
