When using the api, should we set the requestId parameter? If so, what should we set it to?

There's no need to, it's for your own use. We just echo back the request ID in the response. If you're making multiple requests you can use the request ID to make sure you know what result you're dealing with.

Looking through the code and yes, it looks like we do. Colin made it a while ago and there's not much there. Looks like there's support for getting user info: http://www.alexadex.com/ad/api?method=getUser&username=c2
And getting URL info: http://www.alexadex.com/ad/api?method=getQuote&url=google.com
