to stay there needs a lot effort game. and couple extra hours every day here to stay there.

I totally agree that is not that easy but not that hard to reach Top 10 status during any game, but to stay in Top 10 by the end of a game season is way way harder :-)

My advice for you in your situation if you like to go to top10 is:
your opponents are too heavy on money. It is difficult to catch them by usual means. There are two way to make a try
1. try to gamble on drops/jumps, hunting them down right after the update.
and Buy everything that dropped for 8 days or more in hope it will jump some day. Must check every dropper after every update.
2. study the calendar of big events and buy well beforehand sites that are going to be very expensive.
Monitor the news to catch smth unexpected of the large scale.
